VIVE The redesigned lifejacket for your favorite water sport. During the summer of 2017 me and a team of three Industrial Designers worked on making VIVE come to life for six weeks. 

The team had a connection because we are all in love with the water. This is how VIVE was born. First we began with ideation and problem solving. Figuring out what materials to use, how were we going to create a prototype and what are its features. We utilized foam that is able to be laser cut into a pattern that specifically fit our design. After getting the other materials that would go into VIVE we began prototyping and testing. 

VIVE was an eye opener for all of us as designers. After all the research and all the work we put into this project we put VIVE in Kickstarter to see if we could make it a reality. Utilizing research methods we were able to identify our target audience, unit price and even some of VIVE's features.
